"Black Star" by Glover and Jovellanos (Megascope) review

On this Comics Syllabus segment, we review the graphic novel “Black Star” by Eric Anthony Glover and Arielle Jovellanos. “Black Star” is from the new Megascope imprint of Abrams ComicArts, spotlighting comics by and about people of color (see Paul’s review of “After the Rain” here). “Black Star” is a sci-fi thriller about a competition for survival in a distant and dangerous planet, beautifully told with gripping, relentless comic book storytelling.
