Re-Encountering English Class: a comic-making experiment

In which my Substack on comics attempts a comic on Substack

I teach English teachers. The opening assignment for the past two years has been an invitation to re-encounter these pre-service teachers’ own English education through their today-lenses. They’re invited to represent that re-encounter with whatever creative medium or tools they choose.

As an example, I shared a brief comic I rather hastily composed. No fancy Clip Studio word balloons or anything, so I apologize for the rough lettering. I post because I’m curious about the experience of sharing a comic on Substack, as I watch the various Substack comics creators begin to tease the comics they’ll post.
